Passport: Minimum 6 months validity

Visa: Application here (earliest 180 days before departure)

Online Arrival Card: Registration here (approx. 5 days before departure)

Vaccinations: Standard vaccinations are recommended, for details please refer at your official institute

Travel pharmacy

Insurances: International health insurance, possibly travel cancellation and luggage insurance

Clothes: Light cotton clothing

Temple: Shoulder and knees must be covered

Highlands: Warm clothes because the temperature can be around 14°C in the evening/night.

Hiking: Rain clothinhg is suitable

Advice: Umbrella also helps for sun protection

In Sri Lanka

Money change: It is recommended to change money in an exchange office.

Withdraw money: ATM`s are available where you can withdraw money with your credit card

Sockets: There are mostly three-points plugs in Sri Lanka, in most hotels adapters are available or can be purchased

WLAN: Availabe in most hotels and restaurants
