Srilight Travel (Pvt) Ltd.
1. Offers
- Offers of Srilight Travel have a validity of 14 days.
- The offers of Srilight Travel are made in Euro.
- The offers of Srilight Travel which are not confirmed within 14 days may be adjusted according to market prices or changing depending on availability.
2. Prices
The prices of Srilight Travel bookings may be adjusted under the following conditions:
- Fluctuations in transport costs especially with changes in fuel prices.
- Price fluctuations of Srilight Travel service providers.
- Exchange rate variation of USD/EUR and the Sri Lankan Rupee (LKR).
- Inflation.
Should the client refuse to accept the price adjustments, this may result in cancellation of the booked trip.
3. Terms of payment
- After the client confirmed the booking a deposit of 30% of the total price must be paid within 14 days.
- The remaining amount is due at least four weeks before arrival.
- The payment is to be made by international bank transfer. Please note that any transaction fees of the bank has to be paid otherwise a reduced amount will be transferred to the Srilankan account of Srilight Travel.
4. Cancellation
- Cancellations must be made in writing form.
The following cancellation conditions apply:
- More than 60 days before arrival: 7% of the total amount
- Between 60 and 31 days before arrival: 15% of the total amount
- Between 30 and 21 before arrival: deposit 30% of the total amount
- Between 20 and 14 days before arrival: 50% of the total amount
- Between 13 and 7 days before arrival: 75% of the total amount
- Less than 7 days before arrival: 100%
5. Voucher
- If the cancellation is made more than 60 days before your planned arrival we will issue a voucher for the paid trip.
- The settlement of the voucher refers to the current prices in the desired travel period.
- Also a substitute of the booked person is accepted.
6. Change of the booked trip
- In the period between your confirmed trip and arrival in Sri Lanka there might be changes in the planned program due to changes in itinerary, hotels, sights etc. Srilight Travel will immediately inform the customer about the changes. If changes affect a substantial part of the trip, the customer has the possibility to cancel the trip or to accept the changes.
- Due to force majeure such as unfavorable weather conditions, itineraries or services have to be adjusted. Srilight Travel can not be held liable in this case. However the difference between the actual and planned service will be refunded.
7. Responsibility
Srilight Travel´s responsibility does not extend to:
- Theft or loss of airline tickets.
- Damage, loss, theft of personal belongings during the trip.
- Invalid documents such as passport, visa etc.
- Unforeseeable or insurmountable events such as wars, political situations, natural disasters, failure of a service provider.
- In case of loss or theft of luggage or personal belongings of the client, Srilight Travel can not be held responsible for any refund or compensation.
8. Service Provider
Srilight Travel does bookings for hotels, restaurants, sightseeing etc. in behalf of the client. Srilight Travel is not responsible for any changes, restrictions or altered conditions of the service providers.
9. Insurance
A travel cancellation insurance and an international health insurance and possibly a luggage insurance is recommended.
10. Jurisdiction Srilight Travel (Pvt) Ltd.
Complaints regarding the service of Srilight Travel must be made in writing form within 14 days after departure of Sri Lanka. The document must be addressed in writing form by registered mail to: Srilight Travel

In case of disagreement Srilight Travel is interested in finding an extrajuridical solution. The monetary amount in dispute should in no case exceed the value of the booked service.
The place of jurisdiction is Kalutara, Sri Lanka.
